The Summer 2009 Program for International Students (SPIS), administered by UCSB Extension, allows international students to enroll in UCSB summer courses held on campus, and to experience the rewards of learning from distinguished faculty. Students pay for courses and earn transferable units — without being formally admitted to UCSB.
SPIS is ideal for students who are thinking about studying at a major research university in the US, need to finish a few units to complete a degree, need to study specific subjects related to their professional field, or just wish to take courses for personal
enrichment.
Complete program information for 2010 to be announced.
